How do I apply for a position?
Simply visit Job Postings or Future Opportunities and select desired position. Once you have reviewed the position requirements and job details scroll down and click on the Apply Now button. Complete the required fields answer some on line questions and attach your formatted cover letter/resume. Click Submit. You can review all your applications at any time in the “View my Applications” section.
Will you contact me about the progress of my application?
We thank all those interested in employment with Queensway Carleton Hospital, however due to the volume of applications only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
What is the best format to submit my application?
It is suggested to upload a pdf version of your resume and cover letter.

New Job Posting are posted on Tuesdays and Thursdays and close at midnight on the indicated closing day.
Can I submit my applications if I do not see the employment opportunities I am qualified for?
Yes, we welcome all applications. If you do not see a posting that meets your qualifications at this time, please register and create a profile on our recruitment site under the “Create or Update my Profile” section and indicate the job categories you desire. All resumes are kept on file for a period of 3 months.
Can I be offered a position with Queensway Carleton Hospital if I am not Canadian and currently live in a different country?
Only applicants who are legally entitled to work in Canada can be considered for advertised positions. Please visit Citizen and Immigration Canada for information on how to obtain employment authorization.
How do I transfer my nursing registration from another Canadian province?
Please visit the College of Nurses of Ontario for the process. They can answer any questions you have.
