Land Acknowlegement

The Queensway Carleton Hospital and Foundation acknowledge that our offices, located in the heart of west Ottawa, are on the unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinabe Nation.

We extend our respect to all First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples for their valuable past and present contributions to this land. We express gratitude towards the Indigenous peoples who have and will continue to steward these lands.

The Queensway Carleton Hospital and Foundation teams are actively engaging in training and education related to reconciliation and decolonization. We promote inclusivity for all with the underlying objective to establish meaningful relationships within Indigenous communities and to take active steps to helping to advance reconciliation through meaningful and courageous conversations.
