New Masking Guidelines

Effective August 8, 2024, masks are required when interacting with patients. This includes anyone visiting a patient, providing care, or transporting a patient.

 

Masks are encouraged but not required in public areas such as hallways, elevators, cafeterias, and coffee shops.

 

Masks continue to be required for everyone in all areas of the Emergency Department.

 

We will actively monitor hospital and other public health indicators and make further adjustments as appropriate.

 

As a reminder, we ask visitors to stay home if they experience symptoms, except if they need to receive care.
