Leah Levesque

Chief Nursing Executive

Leah Levesque is the Vice-President Patient Care and Chief Nursing Executive at Queensway Carleton Hospital. Leah provides professional leadership to nurses and other regulated health professionals across the organization, as well as operational leadership for Inpatient and Outpatient Care inclusive of: Inpatient Medical Units, Intensive Care Unit, Perioperative Services, Childbirth program, Mental Health Services, Emergency Department and Ambulatory Care. Leah has provided leadership in a variety of settings including Acute Care, Long Term Care and Community Based Services. She served on the Board of Directors for the Ottawa and Renfrew County Alzheimer’s Society for 7 years and was vice chair for 2 years. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing Science from the University of Ottawa, and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration from the University of Toronto. She is also a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
