Interpretation Services

Translation and Sign Language Interpretation

If you are more comfortable speaking a language other than English, an interpreter can be arranged for you. QCH uses a video translation and interpretation service called Voyce. Voyce connects patients and healthcare providers with certified, specially-trained medical interpreters, who are available to assist in over 240 languages, including American Sign Language (ASL). Costs associated with using the Voyce service is covered by Queensway Carleton Hospital.

Patients may bring their own interpreter, at their own discretion and cost.
