The QCH Cystoscopy/Endoscopy Clinic is located on the main level of the hospital (Level 2). This clinic offers flexible cystoscopy procedures to diagnose and treat patients with urological needs. Cystoscopy is a procedure that allows your doctor to examine the lining of your bladder and the tube that carries urine out of your body (urethra). A hollow tube (cystoscope) that has a lens is inserted into your urethra and slowly advanced into your bladder. Patients are awake throughout this procedure, and it typically lasts less than 10 minutes.

Referral and appointments:

Referrals for urology consults are made directly to the Urologist Offices and if a cystoscopy is required, their office will organize a date and time for the procedure.

When the date and time have been booked into the QCH Cystoscopy Clinic calendar, patients who have a Connected Care Patient Portal account will see their booked appointments in their Patient Portal.
