Visiting Hours in the Childbirth Program

The staff and physicians of the Childbirth Program are committed to providing family centered and supportive care. It is important to remember that this is a time of healing, growth and learning. As such, the needs of mom and baby will always be considered while you are here to visit. You may be asked to step out of the room for a brief time during care.

If you or family members are planning on visiting new moms and babies, it is very important that you are healthy. If you are unwell, please consider the health and safety of the new family and do not visit. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to visit except for siblings of new babies. Children under 12 years of age must have an adult present to supervise them.

Please see the information below for visiting hours and number of visitors permitted for each of the different units of the Childbirth Program.
