Emergency Entrance

If you arrive at Queensway Carleton Hospital after 10:00 pm, you will enter the hospital through the Emergency Department and be directed to the Childbirth Unit, as the Main Entrance is locked for security purposes after this time. The Nurses in Emergency will direct you the Childbirth Unit which is at the west end of the facility.

Please note that the Childbirth Unit is locked for the protection of mothers and babies. Use the telephone next to the Childbirth Unit door to gain access, the telephone is connected with the team at the Childbirth Unit's main desk.
