The Childbirth Program has been part of Queensway Carleton Hospital since 1999 and welcomes close to 2,500 babies into the world every year.

Our services include outpatient clinics for care before and after your baby is born, the Birth Unit, a Special Care Nursery, and the Mother and Baby Unit.

We have one of the largest hospital-based obstetrical services in Ontario. Our close partnering with the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and The Ottawa Hospital is crucial in ensuring the best care for you and your family.
