The Childbirth Program at Queensway Carleton Hospital offers this out-patient clinic for women who may need access to additional health care services during their pregnancy. Your healthcare provider will refer you to this clinic for several reasons which may include:

• a pre-existing medical condition or a medical problem that has started during your pregnancy such as high blood pressure or diabetes;

• if you are under 18 years of age;

• mental health issues; social issues;

• smoking cessation support; or for

• consults with other healthcare professionals such as an Anesthetist, Social Worker, Dietician or Endocrinologist.
