Policy on photography or videos

The birth of your baby is a very special moment. Your support person/people may want to take pictures or videos of the birth of your baby so that you can focus on the actual event.

If you plan to take pictures or videos that may include any of the Nurses or Doctors, please ask them for permission before you take the pictures or videos. If you are going to put your pictures or videos on a website, please make sure that the Nurses and Doctors are willing to have their pictures included.

You are welcome to take pictures or videos as long as you have permission and that it does not interfere with the staff taking care of the mother and baby. If taking pictures or videos makes it hard for the Nurses or Doctors to do their jobs, they may ask you to stop. Video taping and taking pictures during a C-section is not permitted.
